The Senior Business Analyst works with business partners and end users throughout the organization to understand and document customer requirements and assist with project implementation.
The Senior Business Analyst provides analytical guidance to the project team throughout the project lifecycle. Data analysis, understanding technology, and assisting with the translation of business requirements into system requirements are important to this role.
The Senior Business Analyst will use their comprehensive knowledge of the health care industry, business processes, data, and IT systems to resolve issues, automate and improve business processes, and assist with the implementation of IT solutions.
Education
? Bachelor's Degree in business, health care administration, or information systems or equivalent work
? 5+ years business analysis skills to interview users, improve business processes, prioritize requirements, manage scope, focus on the business case, document business requirements, and provide supporting visual documentation.
? 5+ years industry knowledge of tools, techniques and industry best-practices for estimating services and business consultation.
Skills and Abilities:
? Strong communication (written/verbal) and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and also to gain cross functional support for projects
? Effectively cope with change, and is able to shift gears comfortably. Can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
? Excellent Problem Solving capabilities. Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. Looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers. Probes all fruitful sources for answers.
